Starting April 7, 2019 Nusrat is on the road in the American heartland visiting small towns, meeting ordinary people to bring their stories to the rest of country and the world.

Otha C and his wife Linda work at his sister’s famous restaurant, Betty’s Place, in Indianola, Mississippi, birthplace of Blues legend BB King. In fact, Betty fed BB for more than 25 years- corn bread, catfish sandwiches, peach cobbler. And Otha is also a pastor, with a booming voice, an expansive heart and an obvious passion for God and humanity. He loves gospel music and is particularly proud of the Gentry High School choir he coaches who are currently winning competitions all over the country and about to tour the world. Otha is troubled by the divisiveness of today’s America but is optimistic that his beautiful country will heal itself because of its strong values and come together as one.
