Nothing could be a more fitting tribute and goodbye to you than to spend the morning with Antoine, the visionary scion of Antoine Arena, a family-owned vineyard in beautiful Patrimonio near Bastia. 

Antoine is everything good about Corsica- a lover of humanity who thinks the plants he distills wine from are alive, a patriot who believes in peace and tolerance and gay rights and rock n roll, and that the Greek brought wine to his country in 500 BC. Above all, Antoine is a gracious host who presented me some rare and delicious wines that taste like the earth and sun of Corsica itself.
